Find at least 5 receipts or invoices for purchases in which you have invested in yourself, and write about each one:

Receipts of any kind: supermarket, restaurant, personal items, car expenses, health, hairdresser, travel, etc.

From now on, whatever you buy, write on the receipt or invoice or bill this statement.

Reflection:

Before: Trapped in the extreme.
I feel released from the guilt of spending my money. From young till now, I used to feel guilty every time I spend money on something. To me, expenditure feel like the route to bankruptcy and ruins. Didn’t I get into a debt with my credit card? The debt became a stark reminder about using money foolishly, until I’m leaning to limiting myself as much as possible. I took myself to extremes sometimes, by shutting myself in my room in the weekends. I feared that if I were to step outside, I might venture and spend money.

Now: back to balance
Through this task, I felt that I’m brought back to balance. Not fearing spending money and also not extravagantly spend it either. By calculating the things that I’ve spent and multiplying it by 7 allows me to see how my actions can be transformed into investments. I’m inspired to see how much I can do to utilize the full value of the Mac Charger, when it can be returned to me as 16,030 baht. The blogs I want to produce, the videos I want to edit, the papers I want to write, etc. I’m also seeing my condominium in a new light. The space can be turned into my studio, classroom, laboratory, etc. to fully utilize its returned value at 112,000 baht, potentially clearing my debt. That’s quite cool to be inspired and to experience these expenditures in a new, refreshing way
